Jeff and Terri Greiner

As Jeff and Terri Greiner see it, they are just a small part of a long and rich community legacy. "The great thing about the Twin Cities is that there have been so many people who have come before us and made the community what it is today," says Jeff.

The Greiners, long-time United Way volunteers and donors, are eager to begin the next phase of their community involvement as the new co-chairs of the United Way Tocqueville Society. They are looking forward to doing it together as a couple.

"Community involvement is very important to us as we strive to give back. Each of us receives much more in return than what we give, which further enriches all of our lives," says Terri.

The United Way Tocqueville Society recognizes and engages donors at the $10,000+ level. The Greiners are quick to acknowledge their predecessors, inaugural Tocqueville Chairs John and Nancy Lindahl, followed by Richard and Theresa Davis, who have led the Society to great success in just two short years.

"We have big shoes to fill," says Jeff. "The Tocqueville Society has gotten off to an extraordinary start. Terri and I are very committed to the reach of United Way and culling even greater commitment from the community in terms of involvement as well as resources. We're committed to cultivating the next generation of community leaders, both as donors and as volunteers."
