She pulls herself up to furniture and takes a few steps while holding on to the chair or sofa.

She likes when adults hold her hands so she can walk and look around at the same time.

 

 

 

How Your Baby is Developing

  • Gross Motor Development—Demonstrates large muscle balance, stability, control and coordination; evelops increasing ability to change positions and move body from place to place.

Helping Your Baby Grow

  • Provide safe, interesting places for baby to move around in and explore.
  • Observe and record when baby is able to sit alone, crawl, pull self up, stand holding onto furniture, stand alone and walk alone.
