How Your Baby is Developing

  • Gross Motor Development—Demonstrates large muscle balance, stability, control and coordination; moves body with purpose to achieve a goal.

Helping Your Baby Grow

  • Provide safe, interesting places for baby to move around in and explore.
  • Provide close supervision as baby learns to move and explore the environment, especially stairs and doorways.
  • Childproof spaces baby explores and remove unsafe and breakable/valuable objects.
