Your generosity helped reduce hunger!

Thank you for joining United Way on July 13 as we launched LIVE UNITED and our Agenda for Lasting Change.

Perfect weather and activities for all ages coupled with a massive volunteer project made the event a great success!  Whether you volunteered to help sort food donations or simply came out to drop off your food items, we appreciate your taking time out of your day.

Event Results

Your food and monetary donations are part of a great beginning towards meeting our goal of reducing hunger 20 percent by 2009.
 
With your support, we:

• Collected 235,000 pounds of food—including over $13,300
• Engaged 625 food-sorting volunteers  
• Entertained and educated more than 1,100 people
• Held 54 new and/or additional food drives within three weeks leading up to the event
